[0 0 3 5] “I was inspired by my mother to have this dream and build up a platform with a special concept." The nominal value of a creative art work and the distribution of new art work depend on how many people value the work and wish to own it. An idea that started from a certain platform often leaves no room for choice, in a similar way to operating systems that come built into a computer or smartphone. Despite this, the various videos and stories that address hope, dreams, and success, and the hard work that goes into achieving them, continue to spring up in people’s minds and hearts. Mr. Kim, the CEO of 35 Vision, had the dream of creating a business model to share and grow a simple message that can change someone’s life. In this business model, stories about ‘the mother’ whom everyone has, who gave birth to us, as well as messages for life’s dreams and hopes are visualized and shared. We sat down with Mr. Kim to hear about how he applied for a patent on a platform that generates a new model for consumption. Drawings that have a record of hope and drawings that will make the world more beautiful with in the virtuous cycle of owning and donating. People are all affected by their mothers and learn through their bond with their mothers. They learn how to communicate with the world and hand down ideas to later generations. The whole process helps us grow in a positive light. CEO of 35 Vision, ZOON HO Kim, was awarded the Brand Grand Prize for Lectures on Creative Ideas in the category of 2019 Customer Satisfaction Brand of the Year. He took the ideas about his mother, who is the source of life and knowledge, and combined them with literature, music, film, and science to generate drawings and plans and provide them as content on a platform. Mr. Kim started uploading videos of his ideas that look back on the meaning of the mother on the occasion of Parents’Day on May 8, 2018. He says he has been creating abstract drawings over the past two years based on the gist of this content. As hinted at earlier this year, Mr. Kim says he used the 35 Vision Homepage as the primary platform by changing the images, including his own concept, to paid content. The primary platform is used as a core business model. The idea of Salvador Dali from long ago, when the artist used advertisement packaging paper to print his paintings instead of the traditional canvas and frame, shocked contemporary artists who could not make sense of how once the package is open, the artist’s work would be thrown away. But in the end, Dali turned out to be right, as we see product logos, caricatures, and illustrations widely used on advertisements and packaging. These days, people watch videos on the platform YouTube, and there is now a profit structure where payments are made via coins or cash. Mr. Kim suggests a new platform that focuses on these aspects. Over 100 types of drawings were created, with a wide range of value attached to each drawing. Based on the number of clicks over a 24 hour period, the value of the drawing is determined. When the drawing is sold at the final value, the overall starting price is set as that final value. This is a new concept for content that generates profit. Through this model, Mr. Kim has created a platform where people can determine how much to donate, with 50% of the sales profits being donated to international organizations such as UNICEF, which adds an aspect of contributing to the public good. Preparing for a patent on a platform that would grow the dreams of numerous people by starting with 100 types of drawings. Mr. Kim introduced the "THE Dream" that was drawn on March 14, 2018, which is one of the drawings that will be listed on the home page that an outsourced company is currently working on coding for. This means that he was able to prove the motivation for making dreams come true by creating a platform that can start everything. Mr. Kim took on the approach of “Suhdongyo,” who spread messages, to deliver the stories via email and post to conglomerates, major organizations, and celebrities. Similar to the case of ‘Lunch with Warren Buffet’ which is one of the most important cases of turning an idea into an events business, he is also considering drafting the stories based on meetings with celebrities and creating sketches and records on the process of the meetings. Overseas, items that have associations with major incidents of well-known figures such as Presidents gain more value as time passes, leading to the proceeds from auctions being donated to charity. But since this concept is not widely spread in Korea, Mr. Kim is planning to apply for a patent regarding this system first in Korea, and then later provide an idea to countries that respect the exclusive rights on content. Mr. Kim says that taking the stories with the date and time recorded and turning them into a database will also be applied, and the sales method will be synchronized with the platform. Mr. Kim is hopeful that this will lead to the growth of the platform. To draw traffic to the website, Mr. Kim has finished registration of copyrights for video on YouTube. He also plans to create books and scenarios with follow-up stories, publish them in an electronic format, and apply for a patent to provide the synopsis to film producers in both Korean and English. A simple story about a dream that started with an idea revolving around the mother has made Mr. Kim a lecturer and given him the courage to stand in front of broadcasting cameras. Mr. Kim notes his experiences and says that people can take inspiration of how a small dream can become big, just as was the case with Einstein and Steve Jobs. Mr. Kim is also considering collaboration with firms specializing in encryption technology for the processes involving determination of the price of the drawings, payment information, determination of the donation amount, delivery of the donation, contracts on the platform and the scope of ownership for various drawings, and the related security technology and e-signatures. All of these ideas have had patents applied for under the title, “METHOD FOR SELLING PICTURE AND DONATING PROCEEDS AND PLATFORM FOR THE SAME”. His idea of using sales proceeds from drawings for charity donations is being handled by patent lawyer Seungjae Han of Sangsang Patent International Law Firm. Mr. Kim hopes to create a ripple effect that will make the world a better place by starting a charity business that promotes the virtuous cycle of money transactions based on his unique method of drawings sales, once the business plan is fleshed out, including a securing of exclusive rights for the content. -Reporter Sang heon Oh www.interviewm.com 2019.12===============================================================================Co-Innovation Project with SAP Enterprise!
